![]() ![]() Make sure you save the changed engine_config.xml ![]() The summary is in the game folder find the folder called cef_cache (in the profile folder) and delete the contents, but not the folder itself, then find the file called engine_config.xml (in the res folder) and in that file change the value for from auto to false. I dunno why the copy and paste messed the color up, I'm trying to fix that. Go to the game folder and find the next file: "C:/Games/World_of_Warships_NA/res/engine_config.xml"Ĭhange "auto" to "false" The string should be as follows:Īnd be sure to save the changes and close the file before starting the game as normal. Open the folder C:/World_of_Warships/profile/cef_cache and delete all the files in it to clear the cache of the in-game browser. Thanks again to Sergey Krasnov for quickly getting back to me with this fix. On a side note the most recent client on testing has the same issue so if you are playing on testing server this solution may apply there as well. Hopefully in future updates they will iron this out and everyone will be able to run without having to implement this fix. It seems that the in game browser has issues running on some hardware so you have to turn hardware acceleration off for the cef browser. Sergey Krasnov of WG support sent me a two step solution that fixed the issue completely. I tried a lotta things and finally broke down and submitted the support ticket. I had an issue since the last update with many of my menus refusing to load and just showing a blank blue background.
